Sketchbook Stories, 8

So, I want to post more this summer.  How am I doing so far?  Pretty bad.  Well, I'm working on a few small projects, but I'm by no means very far with them.  In the meantime, here's another sketchbook update, just to have something up here.  Experimental stuff, and a few of my scribbly notes, haha!

I will do dailies.  Soon!

^ Some early Mey-Me Monster redesign, and a few more:
Cafe Sketching?  Pretty dull.  Not a lot of people present in the Oakville mall; gotta go to Toronto more.
Random life-drawing page from da sketchbook.  I'm trying to do draw everything with one line.  It's interestingly difficult.
And a final random thing I drew at Lake Ontario, a couple of weeks ago.  Trying something different :)

  1. Nope. These are great. ;)Variety is great. Its where you work on things some fully penciled and others loosely thought out.

Sometimes I wake up from an interesting dream and I just pull out my sketch book write a story snippet and sketch a few images for later or when ever. Sketch books are not just for life drawings.

My favorite time to draw is when I’m in a boring or inspired frame of mind and when I’m alone.
My worse time being too distracted, worried and scared of something.

  4. Thanks guys, I'm glad you like the pages. They're quite a random selection, I must say. Usually I pick pages that have one or two things that I like on them, haha!

And what's my favourite thing to draw? Anything really. I enjoy drawing whatever turns out well, which most of the time is a mix of both animal and human characters.
