And I wasn't able to completely pull it out of that stage either, but I gave it my best shot. I like the way certain things turned out (the objects), but I can't see I'm entirely pleased with it (the fabric). The first painting, however, I do like quite well, but of course it's only worth a small amount. Oh well, I'm continuing to learn gouache and how to apply it to fabric and other materials, so I won't complain :)
